As a result, the oxygen produced by the positive electrode exceeds the absorption capacity of the negative electrode, causing the pressure inside the battery to rise. The excessive bubbles generated by overcharging will collide with the parallel plate capacitor, causing specific organic substances to soften and fall off. Together, this leads to severe water shortage in the battery, resulting in a reduction in volume and making it impossible to repair.
